Nebula - Star - Supernova

These drawings are each pretty huge for me, I was really surprised with myself. D: (about 2.5 ft tall?)
And now I feel like I want to draw everything in large scale..

I used watercolor, watercolor crayons, charcoal, chalk pastels, colored pencil...I think that's it.

My Artists Statement-

This triptych was inspired by Art Nouveau, though instead of approaching nature on Earth, I have investigated the nature of space by personifying the life cycle of a star (because our star is responsible for bringing life to Earth in the first place). The first piece resembles a nebula, where a star is born. The piece in the center is the star itself, and the last piece is the supernova, the death of the star.

Also, you know, people are made of stardust. It's pretty cool. c:
