So apparently my area is getting a bunch of flash floods. O__o;;
AGH, but first, I want everyone to know that I am not ignoring anyone. I just haven't been able to get online long enough to reply to messages. I have things to read from two weeks ago.
I'll check them this weekend though.
Andddd, It's been awhile since I've made a journal entry, so I'll talk about the flash floods later.

I got a 100 on my epically awesome Sonic English project. xD
When we presented the project we had to pass all our different papers around the class, and then give a basic summary about the topic and explain what our model thingy was (my Green Hill Zone model)
There's this one girl in my class who is pretty air-headed and clueless, and right after I finnished explaining what Green Hill Zone was, she said, "OOOOH that looks like the place in the game!" And everyone was like, "That's what she just said. -__-"
Then later on in class, my papers were still being passed around while someone else was presenting, and that same girl just started bursting out laughing as the presenter was saying something sad about World War II, and everyone glared at her and called her mean, but she said, "No, no! I was laughing at this comic with Sonic!" And she was still laughing. xD Oh god.

For English homework one day last week we were supposed to find a ten-line poem, and I forgot to do it, so I remembered her saying we could use song lyrics, so I had to say ten lines from Dreams of an Absolution because it was the first song that popped into my head. xDDD

All my friends have recovered from Swine flu now, including my crazy sister Melissa who had it last week. ;o;
Gosh I thought I was going to get it, but it seems to have passed on by or something, because everything is all back to normal at school.

Oh my god, my next Governor's School field trip is all planned out now. We're going to Washington D.C. the first Saturday of December. 8D
I've always love long bus rides because of the epic DS download-play battles that go on. The past few years with my SEARCH class we've always had full Mario Kart parties and Metroid Prime Hunter tournaments xD Then one of my nerdy friends would try challenging everyone to play Big Brain Academy or something.
So for Governor's School I have no idea... I'll just tell my friends to bring their DS's and see what happens.
We're bringing our portfolios with us to D.C. though, since it will be on National Portfolio Day. ;o; It's going to be so cool, though I have no idea who will be looking at them. Colleges I guess. It's a big deal for the juniors and seniors.

Yesterday was Veterans Day, and I'm sure everyone everywhere didn't have school. -___-;; But, our retarded school system had school.
Everyone around us didn't have school. Like, my entire state didn't have school! D:< But our school was still in session. I had to go home early because Governor's School had the day off.
I remember it raining when my dad took me home.
Apparently it was hurricane rain, which, uh, I had no idea there was a hurricane here. O__o;;
Which brings me to the whole flash flooding thing...


Last night I got a text message from a Governor's School friend saying that Gov school was going to be canceled tomorrow due to weather.
So then was watching the news and there was all this "STATE OF EMERGENCY" stuff going on all the sudden, so I asked my dad what was going on, and he told me that what was left of Hurricane Ida was hitting us, and apparently the city where Gov school is was flooded out, and several streets in my town had to be closed tomorrow because of flooding...

So this morning I turned on the news right away, realizing that it has been raining non-stop since when my dad picked me up from school yesterday. And yeah, I got an email saying governor's school was canceled, and on the news they were showing flooded areas and had a huge list of schools that were canceled... It looked like every school everywhere in my reigon. O__o EVERY SCHOOL. Except for mine. -___-;; Our school system apparently decided to have school while my town is drowning in a hurricane.
And on the news they were talking about alll the bridges being closed, and cities that were being closed, and shelters that were opening for people to go to, and warnings telling us to bring anything in our yards inside, warning everyone to stay off the roads & stay inside if they could, and power outages that were occuring, and, you know, all the regular hurricane stuff.
And then my school bus is outside honking the horn as if it was a regular day. -__-;; My friends got on the bus, and my sister and I were still in my house staring in shock because it was raining like crazy and the wind was blowing the trees as if they were going to crash and fall... xDDD
We haven't had a hurricane since 2003, when Hurricane Isabel hit us. xD My dad said that the "I" hurricanes really like us since this time it's Hurricane Ida.

xD When I got to school this morning, everyone that was there was soaking wet and pissed off. Even the teachers. And there were a lot of students absent because there are several roads that are closed.
In English class there were only like, ten of us, so my teacher decided we would illustrate our poetry booklets. The lights fllickered. O___o;;
We were saying that since we were in school on veterans day, and then durring a hurricane, that if the Day After Tomorrow was going on, our school would still be the only school to not cancel. xD
But, eh, people were asking me and Nathan to draw stuff for them, then we all got lazy and my teacher threw candy at us and we were listening to music on our phones and then some sophmores from across the hall came in our classroom to hang out with our teacher... It was very random...
Then I had science class, we watched a movie about natural disasters after my teacher rambled on about how mad she was that it took her forever to get to school because so many roads were blocked off and there was so much rain.
Dx I fell asleep, and then woke up and everyone was leaving the classroom, so I was all "What the heck is going on?" And my teacher said that we were going to our buses because they decided to give us an early dismissal... So I had to run to my locker, then run out in the rain to find my bus. I paniced because I didn't remember my bus number since I never ride it because of Governor's school. x__x
Eh, so yeah, I'm home, and it's still raining like crazy, and it's pretty windy.
The news is going crazy too, about how serious the flooding is, and that so many places lost power...
Dx Oh god, I hope that it doesn't flood extremely bad at Governor's Scool, because my acrylic classroom is downstairs in a building, and our paintings are kept in these weird slot things on the ground... Dx If it floods too bad it could hurt our self-portraits.

I haven't lost power yet, so I decided I'd go ahead and write a journal entry about this. Hopefully I'll have power tomorrow because I'll be with my scanner and I can finally upload Silver's Sword Training. xD Isn't it a miracle?

Still caught up in love sickness. -___-;;
I plan on working on comics like an insane person these next few weeks to keep me distracted. 8D
